1.) Bezos Steps Aside
2.) Drizly Gulped by Uber
3.) Adjust Attributed to Applovin
4.) Zuck Breaks Clubhouse
1.) Bezos Steps Aside: the legendary Jeff Bezos is stepping down as CEO of Amazon after a 27 year run at the helm. Is he retiring? Hell no. Is his timing good ahead of some potentially spicy antitrust issues? Perhaps. Is it Elon vs. Bezos in a race to Mars? Pretty pleaseee
2.) Drizly Gulped by Uber: The booze delivery service is getting rolled into the Uber delivery behemoth. Good for them! I’ll have fries and an alcoholic beverage with that please
3.) Adjust Attributed to Applovin: we’ve got some more M&A in mobile ad tech ahead of Apple’s privacy rollout. This sets the stage for IPO candidate Applovin to become a self attributing network like the big dawgs of Google, FB, Snap, Pinterest etc etc
4.) Zuck Breaks Clubhouse: the new social darling had some technical difficulties on Thurs night after a surprise guest by Mark Z / @zuck23. Was it all in good fun? Or is this part of his ongoing relentless clone-ialism? Jk jk. Had some interesting thoughts on VR though, google it!
